Classes
Group sessions.
Real capacity.
No chaos.
The Classes engine is for any business that runs sessions with multiple attendees at once, a group workout, a language class, a workshop, a dance lesson. Customers sign up for a specific session, capacity fills in real time, and once a session is full it stays full. Every session on your schedule, every attendee accounted for.

How your customers sign up
Four steps. That's all it takes.
It starts on your storefront, the professional booking page every UhuruSpace account gets. Customers land on it from your Instagram bio, a WhatsApp message, a business card, or wherever you share the link. From there, it's four steps.
You decide: instant confirmation or manual review.
Some businesses want every sign-up reviewed. Others want automatic confirmation. UhuruSpace supports both. Set your Classes engine to auto-confirm, customers are added to the class instantly and get a confirmation email. Or set it to manual review, every sign-up lands in your dashboard as pending, and customers get a "sign-up received" email while you decide. Full confirmation goes out the moment you approve. Change the mode whenever your business needs to.
Once a session is full, it's full.
When you create a class, you set your enrolment limit, the maximum number of attendees per session. From that moment, UhuruSpace treats capacity as a hard rule. Every sign-up counts against the session's remaining spots, multi-seat sign-ups count in full, and the storefront shows a live "N spots left" on every session. Once a session hits capacity, it closes automatically, no more sign-ups, no risk of overbooking. Every reschedule and every manual booking from your dashboard runs the same check. If waitlist is enabled, full sessions don't disappear, they show as waitlist-eligible instead, customers can join the waitlist, their request lands in your dashboard, and you decide who to convert to a real booking with one click when a spot opens up.

Set it once. It runs itself.
Set a class to run once. Set it to run every Monday. Set it to run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for three months. UhuruSpace handles it. The recurring schedule engine reads your setup, start date, end date, which days of the week, and generates every upcoming session automatically. Customers see the real dates on your storefront. You see every session on your calendar. No need to create each week manually.
Set up exactly how your business works
When you create your Classes engine, you configure the rules that shape every class inside it.
Duration
How long each session runs, down to the minute.
Enrolment limit
The maximum number of attendees per session.
Minimum to run
The minimum number of sign-ups you need to hold the class. If a session doesn't hit that number by the day before, UhuruSpace automatically cancels it and notifies every attendee, no last-minute chaos.
Schedule type
Whether the class is a one-time session or a recurring series.
Recurring days
Which days of the week the class runs on, plus start and end dates.
Class-specific hours
Each class can run within its own time window, independent of your general business hours.
Instructor
Assign the staff member who teaches this class. Their real schedule is honoured, and every booking is tied to them on the calendar.
Advance booking window
How far in advance customers can sign up.
Each class can override these defaults. A one-off masterclass and a weekly recurring group session can live in the same engine with completely different rules.
Add-ons
Make every class yours.
Five optional add-ons let you shape exactly what happens before and after every class. Turn on what you need, ignore what you don't, every one is configurable per class.
Deposits
Set when payments should be collected, at booking or at arrival. You define the terms, customers see them clearly before they confirm.
Intake questions
Ask what you need to know before the session, experience level, injuries, dietary needs, learning goals. Every question configurable.
File uploads
Let customers send a document, a reference, or anything you need to prepare properly for the session.
Pre-session instructions
Give customers clear guidance before they arrive. What to bring, what to wear, where to meet.
Cancellation policy
Choose from flexible, moderate, or strict presets, each with a clear window and fee. Customers see it upfront, and if they cancel late, the fee is recorded on their booking automatically.
Every sign-up shows up in one place.
Your calendar displays every session laid out by day and week, grouped either By Staff or By Resource, see which instructor is teaching when, or see which spaces are being used and when.
- Toggle between By Staff and By Resource, see which instructor is teaching when, or see which spaces are occupied and when
- See every attendee for every session, open any class and view the full roster, every attendee, every seat count, all in one list
- Mark each person as attended, no-show, or completed with a single click, your class records are always up to date
- The waitlist lives as its own tab, convert a request into a real booking with one click, or dismiss when the session doesn't have room
- Create sign-ups manually on behalf of a customer, over the phone, in person, or wherever they reach you, the same capacity check applies for multi-seat bookings too
- Connect Google Calendar or Outlook so your personal schedule overlays directly onto the same view
