Reservations
One space.
Many customers.
Zero double-bookings.
The Reservations engine is for any business where customers reserve a shared space, not a personal appointment slot. It manages capacity, party sizes, turnover time, and confirmation flow, so a table stays a table, a room stays a room, and nothing gets booked past what you can actually deliver.

How your customers reserve
Four steps. That's all it takes.
It starts on your storefront, the professional booking page every UhuruSpace account gets. Customers land on it from your Instagram bio, a WhatsApp message, a business card, or wherever you share the link. From there, it's four steps.
You decide: instant confirmation or manual review.
Some businesses want every reservation reviewed before it's added to the calendar. Others want it confirmed instantly. Set your Reservations engine to auto-confirm and customers get an instant confirmation email the moment they book. Or set it to manual review, every reservation lands as pending until you approve it, and customers get a "reservation received" email while they wait. Change the mode whenever your business needs to.
Once a space is full, it's full.
Every space has a total capacity you set, the maximum number of people it can hold at once. Every incoming reservation counts against it, every reschedule re-checks it, and every manual booking you create from the dashboard runs the same check. The storefront shows a full slot as unavailable automatically, no one can book past it. If waitlist is enabled, full slots don't disappear, customers can add themselves to the waitlist instead, you get notified, and you decide who to convert into a real booking when a slot frees up.

Set up exactly how your business works
When you create your Reservations engine, you configure the rules that shape every space inside it.
Turnover time
The time a space needs between reservations, for cleaning, resetting, or turning over. Once configured, the space stays blocked for that window after every booking ends. No customer can book into the gap.
Total capacity
The maximum number of people a space can accommodate at once.
Party size range
The minimum and maximum number of people per reservation.
Duration
How long each reservation typically lasts.
Space-specific hours
Each space can have its own operating window, a rooftop that only opens evenings, a private room only available on weekends. Or let it inherit your business hours by default.
Advance booking window
How far in advance customers can reserve, days, weeks, or months.
Minimum notice
How close to the reservation time customers can still book.
Time-slot intervals
Whether slots show every 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
Each space can override these defaults. A private dining room and a beach cabana can live in the same engine with different rules.
Add-ons
Make every reservation yours.
Five optional add-ons let you shape exactly what happens before and after every reservation. Turn on what you need, ignore what you don't, every one is configurable per space.
Deposits
Set when payments should be collected, at booking or at arrival. You define the terms, customers see them clearly before they confirm.
Intake questions
Ask what you need to know before the reservation, dietary requirements, special occasions, seating preferences. Every question configurable.
File uploads
Let customers send documents, references, or anything else you need to prepare the space properly.
Pre-arrival instructions
Give customers clear guidance before they arrive. Where to park, which entrance, what to expect.
Cancellation policy
Choose from flexible, moderate, or strict presets. Customers see it upfront, and late fees are recorded automatically.
Every reservation shows up in one place.
Your calendar displays every booking laid out across the week, with a toggle between By Staff and By Resource.
- Toggle between By Staff and By Resource, see who's working when, or see which spaces are occupied and when they free up
- Real-time filters narrow by staff, location, service, or status
- The waitlist lives as its own tab, convert a request into a real booking with one click, or dismiss when you don't have room
- Create a reservation manually on behalf of a customer, over the phone, in person, or wherever they reach you, the same capacity, turnover, and availability checks apply
- Connect Google Calendar or Outlook so your personal schedule overlays the same view automatically
Who uses Reservations
Any business where the booking is for a space, not a person.
If your business rents space, seats, or shared capacity, Reservations runs it.
